French's Dairy - the History Behind the Name
French’s Dairy was London’s first dairy, set within the historic and listed building that is 13 Rugby Street. Under the building flows the White Conduit (circa 1300 AD), part of the water supply between Greyfriars Monastery and Newgate Street. It’s a beautiful building redolent with history and has provided the look and name for which the business has become world famous.
Since its launch in 2006 French's Dairy has been proud to showcase the work of some of the world's finest jewellery designers including Philippe Ferrandis, Anton Heunis and Stefanie Freydont, Patrice from Florida and Karin Andreasson to name but a few.
Today, the French's Dairy brand and heritage lives on at our acclaimed website where you can buy an ever-growing selection of work directly from the world's finest jewellery designers...
