Mary Davis

Mary Davis has a long history in fashion especially knitwear, her style as we know it today evolved when Mary was helping a friend rescue a shrunken jumper. Inspired by the felted texture Mary saw exciting potential for a new kind of knitwear.

Described as knitwear with a twist, she makes use of texture and different finishes and embellishments to create a range of garments which are exciting and easy to wear. Due to their robust construction and beautiful decoration the cardigans are often referred to as jackets, as they are warm and stylish enough to complete an outfit.

All are constructed using 100% wool and until recently garments were hand knitted but Mary for the last few years has worked with UK producers to create machine knits, which are then hand embellished and finished, then felted to retain her unique aesthetic and sense of quality.

As well as creating a beautiful product another thing which makes this a stand out label is Mary’s desire to bring a product to the market which has been made exclusively in the UK.
